In June 2015, 10 young students from the Ekurhuleni West TVET College / Tembisa Campus gained practical experience when they worked at GIZ Pretoria as part of the Work Based Exposure (WBE) programme.

After completing the programme, the German Embassy in Pretoria invited them to create one piece for a puzzle which was put together to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the day of German Unity.

The puzzle was presented on the 3rd of October at the German Ambassador’s residence. All GIZ WBE interns together with their lecturer and campus manager were invited and received personal thanks from the German Ambassador. Mrs. Gerda Magnus, Chief Director of DHET, was also present for this special occasion.
